New Puppy Consultation

Bringing a new puppy into the family can be so exciting and should be a very happy time.  It can also be extremely stressful.  There is so much information, so many books and the information can be both overwhelming and confusing.  We have been working with new puppies and their owners for many years and is one of our main areas of expertise.  Whether you have a very young puppy straight out the litter or an older puppy, we can make the transition much easier and less stressful for you.

The new puppy consultation is a one-time private 90-minute session intended to answer many of the questions that new owners may have about puppy care, maintenance and training.  As both puppy and behavior specialists, we will help you resolve behavior issues common in puppies, like biting, chewing, jumping up, house training, alone-time training, crate training, ankle grabbing and many others.  Ultimately, this session will help you better understand your puppy, common puppy behaviors and techniques to remove unwanted behaviors.  The session will also give you a "jump start" on the basic obedience and manners training for your puppy and give you a better sense of control. 

 Rates:

$175 for the full 90 minute session.  If this session is done in conjunction with the Puppy Kindergarten class, the price is reduced to $125.
