Puppy Class
This is our first time owning a puppy and we are having a great experience. Our daughter has sensory integration issues and choosing the right puppy was critical for us and Deborah really helped guide us toward the right breed and taught us what to look for in choosing a puppy. As soon as we brought our cockapoo Lupin home, Deborah got us off on the right foot. Puppy Kindergarten has been an amazing class to not only watch our own puppy grow and learn but to watch our whole, highly diverse, cohort of puppes grow and learn much to the skill and patience of Deborah. Deborah brings great knowledge, experience, humor and her great love of canines and their often hapless owners to all our sessions. Our many thanks. Jennifer and Julian

Puppy Class
The Puppy class provides a balance of play (learning social skills), learning basic commands (sit, down, come, leave it) and techniques for dealing with issues, i.e. timidness, aggression, biting, jumping up. Deborah''''s techniques of using positive reward-based training works with even the most energetic of dog breeds. Every session is fun and informative. Puppy Class

Puppy Class
I called Deborah when we got our puppy. She has taught me so much about dog behavior and behavioral training. Bart (our puppy) has been in several of Deborah''s classes. At first he was timid around other dogs, but has "come out of his shell." What''s most important is that Deborah CARES about dogs. Group Classes
I just wanted to say that I have seen such a huge improvement in my golden retriever, Lolly, since I have been attending Deborahs classes. I attended another dog trainng class prior to this and there is no comparison. Deborah really trains the owner to be in control of their dog and I have learned so much. Consultations
I adopted a "special needs" dog from the shelter. Miss Honey is a 92 lb. Labrador Retriever. Whenever she saw another dog, she would lunge and bark to get to the other dog. My visions of walking Miss Honey in public quickly dissipated as it was a miserable experience. I went through 2 other dog trainers with negative results. By the time I met Deborah, I was literally at the end of my rope. She restored my hope that Honey could walk around other dogs in a non-reactive manner. It has only been 6 months since I started Growly class/private consultations and Miss Honey has been transformed. Deborah provided several methods to deal with dog aggression and leash frustration. Miss Honey can finally act like a lady in public and its enjoyable to take her for walks! Thanks Deborah! Jennifer Henderson & Miss Honey

Growly Class
I have never seen such a huge change in behavior in our dog, Jackson, since joining Growly class. He went from growling and trying to attack any unfamiliar dog to being able to meet a whole group of new dogs, and not only not react, but play with them happily. I am so proud of him and am thankful for the skills that we learned from Deborah. Nikki Williams & Jackson

Group Classes
I cannot overstate how thrilled we are with Deborah''s training style and techniques. After completing both Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy II with our Golden Retriever puppy, we are immensely proud of our well-behaved and controlled pup. We are always excited to show off her obedience and tricks and revel in the comments we receive about what a great and well-behaved puppy she is. Deborah''s impulse control techniques are amazing. Our puppy will lay in down position with high-value treats resting right on her paws, but she will not eat them until we command her to do so. We can see how badly she wants those treats, but Deborah gave us the tools and skills to ensure that we are the ones with the power and control over those doggy impulses. Deborah provides reassurance and help with whatever issue we might be having with our puppy. We can''t wait to come back for more classes. Brittiny Carter and Brian Considine

Growly Class
“We waited eight years to get our dog into class, which is why she started out attending Growly Class. Karma is a "scary smart" dog with three bites on her record due to lack of socialization. With pronged collar, basket muzzle, and treat pouch, we headed to Growly Class after she nipped two foster pups over the summer. We came close to giving up – it was awesome to find Deborah and Growly class when we did. Karma turned from bad to good in the blink of an eye. She figured out the treat pouch and what it took to empty it into her mouth. She did things we never saw her do (sniff a dog, let a dog sniff her, or just look to us when she saw a new dog or a squirrel). It is clear a weight has been lifted from Karma as well as from us. I would highly recommend this class for anyone with a dog who suffers from any lack of socialization or unsavory behaviors.
