I am so amazed at Deborah everytime I go to class.(Adult Obedience)Tootsie is a 2 year old pembroke welsh corgi, who had no formal kind of training. She was also not very well socialized. The first class Tootsie sat outside the circle, behind me and refused to go near the other dogs. Every lesson she became a little more brave. Now she runs and plays with the others and sits inside the circle. I thought I had ruined my dog, by babying her, but with Deborahs help and training, Tootsie is a normal, outgoing dog. Thank you Deborah.

As a new Mommy I loved my new puppy, but knew we both needed a bit of help when it came to training. I checked multiple websites and called all over town, finding many people who offered advice and information, but none of it was very useful. When I spoke to Deborah, she gave me some pointers and immediately I noticed a difference in the way my dog, Nazzy, responded to my requests. Since our first Puppy Kindergarten class Nazzy has amazed numerous family and friends with her obedience. And I give Deborah all the credit. Deborah is an amazing resource of canine-related information who does more than teach dogs to sit. She teaches me how to get Nazzy to listen and pay attention. Thank you Deborah, for making our house a pleasant home for both man and beast.

Deborah has helped me with my Lucky, a pit mix, to be a much more social girl. Even when you''re in a group class setting, she takes the time to address individual issues. Love, love, LOVE the occasional play days to keep Lucky social and refresh some of the training skills! Thanks so much Deborah! I''m always telling people about you!

Deborah is amazing when it comes to training dogs. I especially like her Zen philosophy. To this day my Boxer girl, Maddy, will sit down and look me square in the eye. Deborah''s passion for dogs and their training is evident the minute you meet her. She makes training fun (although, I think she is really training us ) and it''s training that will last a lifetime.

My Mom watched Deborah teach a puppy class at Urban Dogs and told me how amazed she was at how much the puppies had learned in just 1 session. She thought I should take my puppy to her, I did and Mom was right. My puppy is now 2 years old and still remembers all the good things we learned in class. You''re the best Deborah. What is a Schnoodle? I furry, happy, bouncy, smiling bundle of energy and Deborah has managed to teach us how to get her under control (most of the time). Zinky started coming to Deborah''s puppy class at 4 months. She is now 11 months and about to graduate advanced obedience! We had one private lesson from Deborah just for that one on one attention and it was a great experience. The classes are small and we get a lot of undivided attention with Deborah for our dogs. The outside play area at Wag is a godsend as it allows them to let off a little steam during class and isn''t that what it is all about! Our daughter Ava loves to come to class and it is hard to get the leash from her to work with Zinky myself at the class. Deborah makes it so fun. Thanks again Deborah- you really have made having a schnoodle puppy a joy! Sheila and Ava King

It is very rare that Tom and I are both speechless, but within 10 minutes of Deborah entering our home, that''s how we were. Deuce, our 9 month old Basset Hound had taken over the house. His favorite game was chase the cat, then if he caught one, he would stand there and hold its head in his mouth. His favorite toys weren''t the ones we had bought him, he loved to chew the carpet or the fence. He would greet everyone at the door by jumping all over them and licking them. And he had ive deafness. Unless it was about food, he couldn''t hear us talking to him. Then, along came Deborah. She understood what was going on with Deuce right away. She captured his attention immediately, and had him sitting down and looking right at her. She really is magical. She cured his deafness after one private session! Now, after 3 private sessions, Deuce comes to us when he is called. He sits (most of the time), is learning to stay and he doesn''t jump on us anymore. He has jobs to do now, so he doesn''t

When we met Murphy, he was a 60 pound ball of chocolate energy. He was rescued from the side of the highway, and behaved accordingly. Within the first few minutes of his private lessons, Deborah had Murphy''s attention- and ours! She helped us understand the Murphy really did want to learn, and showed us how to do it. After private lessons and a group class, our loving chocolate pup can now be taken out in public. In fact, Sean has even taught him how to fetch the newspaper every morning...now if I can just get him to do the dishes...
We cannot thank Deborah enough for showing us what a loving, obedient and polite dog our Murphy could be. He even receives compliments from strangers on how well behaved he is!Thanks Deborah! The Mulligan Clan.

Our chocolate lab puppy (who now weighs in at around 70 pounds) knew immediately that it was we who were the students. We needed the puppy classes in order to train ourselves to be good dog owners. By the end of two courses, our dog was the master of zen, and we are happy to be her guides. Deborah''s methods are truly based in good teaching and great instincts. We are soon to be enrolled again in an adult class, for we have fallen off the training wagon and Zlata reminds us daily that we don''t know everything.

"Deborah the dog whisperer"! That is what we call her around our house. She just plain knows dog behavior - human to, for that matter. Deborah''s way of reward based training made my dogs happy dogs. They have "jobs" to do now, and are pleased to do them. In exchange, we get the behaviors we want and need from Tess & Kahlua. With Deborah''s help, I have fulfilled a dream of mine to visit hospitals and nursing homes with my dogs, to bring smiles to patients faces and brighten their day. Thanks Deborah!

I took Lucy, our yellow labrador retriever, to Deborah''s Puppy Class when she was about 10 weeks old and then followed up with her wonderful Puppy II Class a few months later. I highly recommend continuing education with Deborah. It makes for a stronger and more meaningful connection with your dog. Plus, it''s fun!
